How much does it cost?
€29 a month including VAT, with no setup fee and no lock-in. There is also a one-off option: €200 setup and €10 every 3 months. We don't charge per conversation. On WhatsApp, Meta charges separately for replies above 1,000 a month per number.
Is there a free plan?
Not for using it on your website. What's free is the demo with your website, no sign-up, and a free account, no card needed, with the full dashboard and an assistant that answers on its demo page, with limits (50 messages a day). To put it on your website or on WhatsApp you start the 15-day trial: you pay €0 today and can cancel with one click before it ends.
How does the 15-day trial work?
You start it from the demo with your website and it keeps your card on file, but you pay €0 that day. Before you enter it, you see the date and amount of the first charge. The 15 days count from the next day, and we email you when you start, 7 days before and 3 days before the charge. If you cancel during the trial, you pay nothing.
How do I cancel?
With one click: the cancel link is in every billing email and in your dashboard. No lock-in, no penalties, and you are never charged again.
How do I pay?
On our payment page, with Stripe's form: card and the other methods it shows (today also PayPal, Revolut Pay, Klarna, Amazon Pay and Link). We never see or store your card details.
Do I get an invoice with my tax ID?
Yes. You can enter your tax ID on the payment page, and each charge comes with an invoice by email. You also have them in your dashboard, under “My subscription”.
Is it the same if I install it from the Shopify App Store?
Not quite: Shopify bills you instead, with 14 days free and then $29 a month on your Shopify invoice, and you cancel by uninstalling the app.
How it works
Do I need Shopify?
No. It works on any website by pasting one line: WordPress and WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or a custom-built site. With Shopify connected, it also checks prices, stock and order status live.
How do I add it to my website?
You copy a line from your dashboard and paste it into your website. The dashboard has the steps for Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow and custom sites, and a button that checks whether it's in place.
Where do the answers come from?
From what you give it: your website, which it re-reads on its own every week; the documents you upload (PDF, Word, Excel, TXT, CSV or HTML); and the questions with answers you write in your dashboard. With Shopify connected, also your live catalogue and orders.
Does it make things up?
It is built to answer only with your information: before a reply is sent, a second check compares it with what your website says. If it doesn't know, it says so and passes you the contact. Like any AI, it can get things wrong: test it with your own questions before you go live.
What happens when it doesn't know the answer?
It says so and asks the customer for their name and email. You get an email with the contact details and what they need, and the question stays in your dashboard, under “Unanswered questions”, so you can teach it the answer.
Can I reply to a customer myself from Atendyo?
There is no live chat today. When a customer asks to talk to a person, or the assistant doesn't have the answer, you get an email with their contact details so you can write to them yourself.
Which languages does it answer in?
More than 50. It detects the customer's language and answers in it, even if your website is only in Spanish.
Can I change its name and how it talks?
Yes. In your dashboard you choose its name, colour, logo, welcome message and up to four quick buttons, and you write it instructions: what to prioritise, what tone to use or what to do with certain questions.
Does it work on WhatsApp too?
Yes, in two ways: the AI answers the messages on your business number, which you connect from your dashboard with your Facebook account, or a button on your site opens a chat with your usual number and you answer yourself.
How much does Meta charge for WhatsApp?
From 1 October 2026, each business number gets 1,000 free replies a month and Meta charges your WhatsApp Business account for the rest. Meta charges it, not Atendyo: our €29 stays the same.
Does the customer know they're talking to an AI?
Yes. On the website, the chat introduces itself as an “AI assistant” and, on WhatsApp, the first reply says so, as the EU AI Act requires.
Data and security
Where is the data?
The application and the database are in Germany, on netcup servers. Replies are written by one of these AI models: Mistral (France), our own model on our server, Groq or Cloudflare; the last two process in the US with the safeguards the GDPR requires. The full list is in the privacy policy.
How long are conversations kept?
You choose in the dashboard: 24 hours, or 3, 7, 30 or 90 days from the last message, or keep them forever. If you change nothing, they delete themselves after 30 days, with their attachments.
Do you use cookies?
We don't use our own cookies or any analytics, advertising or tracking tools. We count visits to this website without cookies and without storing your IP address. The little the chat stores in your browser is listed in the cookie policy.
